I painted this scene for a study of freshly fallen rain.  I found that an image comes to life as light reflects on a wet surface.  Everything interacting with the watery surface becomes more enhanced by the luminous shimmer upon it. 

I appreciate art that captures a sense of atmosphere and light plays a big part in that.
